Rick brings over 40 years of experience in higher education leadership, with a track record of institutional transformation across academic strategy, governance, and law school management. He has served as Dean at the University of Florida and Chicago-Kent College of Law, and as President of New York Law School, where he led a multi-year turnaround focused on financial stability, curricular reform, and market alignment.

Most recently, Rick served as Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Tulane University, working directly with the president to lead university-wide planning, manage risk, and strengthen cross-unit collaboration. At Rhodes Advisors, Rick supports senior university leaders in navigating organizational complexity, aligning academic priorities with financial realities, and driving sustainable change across schools and programs.
